01月24日讯 在发给球迷组织“The 1958”的一封信中，曼联俱乐部承认，如果不提高季票价格，俱乐部将面临违反英超财务规则的风险。
据悉，过去三个赛季里曼联的税前亏损高达3.129亿英镑，自拉特克利夫和英力士接管曼联以来，俱乐部实施了一系列的降本增效措施，包括250人的大裁员，以及在未与球迷协商的情况下决定上调季票价格。
在给球迷组织的信中，曼联官方表示：“俱乐部每年都在遭受重大损失，如果不采取行动，俱乐部将面临未来几年无法遵守PSR（盈利和可持续发展规则）/FFP（财务公平竞争）要求的风险，这将严重影响我们在球场上的竞争力。
“俱乐部将尽快恢复现金流，但为了实现这一目标，我们必须做出一些艰难的抉择，包括大幅裁员以及削减俱乐部诸多领域的开支。”
曼联还未最终确定25-26赛季的球票定价政策，但表示一旦确定将会告知球迷详细信息。
据统计，曼联上赛季总收入为6.618亿英镑，比赛日收入则占1.371亿英镑。
